We always enjoy DaVinci's as the pizza is fantastic, but be forewarned - this restaurant is *slow*! I mean, really, really slow which may be o.k. if you're on a romantic date, but be careful if you're trying to get a quick lunch.

DaVinci's has good pizza, but before baking they put the toppings underneath the cheese. So why are they called 'toppings'? I don't like my pizza this way, but they happily honor requests to put the toppings on top of the pizza.

This is, by far, the best pizza in Birmingham. My Grandfather used to own The Supper Club in Auburn, AL when they made pizzas back in the 70's and Divinci's pizza is made the way my Grandfather made them. I highly recommend Devinci's!! The taste is well worth the wait.

Pizza, calzones, pasta....never had a bad meal here. Love the Mona Lisa pizza...the gnocci and pasta is pretty good here too.

Of note, the garlic loaf they bring you is kinda small.

I have been eating DeVinci's pizza for 30 years now and still love it! The Mona Lisa is incomparable, the pasta dishes are excellent, and the Chocolate Confusion cake? To die for!

An above comment made mention of the fact that they are “*slow*! I mean, really, really slow.” This is very true, WHICH IS WHY I DINE THERE EVERY CHANCE I GET! Everything is made fresh for you as you order it. If you want McDonald’s quality, then go to McDonald’s! I discovered this perfect little place in my teens and now that I am pushing 40 and have moved a little over 2 hours away, I still make time to bring my daughters down to Birmingham about once a month to eat here. The owner, Roland Day (Papa Day if you are talking to my daughters) is one of the finest men to have walked this earth and will go far out of his way to make you fell like an honored guest in his home from the time you set foot in the door.

I used to work there. Great food..! Papa day (ole Rolo, love him to death, Roland) is a great man. I personally believe that Mr. Day is the magical Demigod that is the spirit of the place. He helped to make me who I am today, amazingly, bless that man! However, working there, I know the key to the magic- it is a man named "Adolpho..." He is shrouded in mystery... Pizzas- you will never find a better pizza than the Soprano, unless you are a Vegan... in which case, not so much... The Mona Lisa? She smiles only because you know that you know she's the best thing around..! It's an AMAZING place to go, so go there!!!!

Thick Awesome Pizza! Almost Chicago style (you know...the ones filled with flavor). I agree with above commenter, if you want something specific, they will honor your request without a hassle. Yes they do "take their time", but the food is worth the wait. Their Gnocchi is a pretty good appetizer.

This pizza is terrible!! It takes EXACTLY like what I call "kid food" - the 99 cent frozen pizzas or the kind from school cafeterias...with absolutely NO seasoning or taste, just bland tomato sauce. It never ceases to amaze me how many people rave about this place. The only thing I can come up with is it HAS to be the location - if this pizza was in a food court, people would walk right past it. To put this review in perspective, I've never been to a restaurant I'd call "terrible" before this, and have never written a negative review. I'm not very picky. And SUPER slow is definitely accurate. This place staying open, much less popular, is a complete mystery to me!

I used to Buy Viagra online in the internet shop next to this place, I had tasted this pizza and it's delicious, it's hard to find good food on the street this days.
