Special Dinner at Crape Myrtle Cafe

Guitarists Earl Waller, Jr. and Dennis Leonard will be performing at Crape Myrtle's Café at the Little Professor Bookstore in Homewood, Saturday evening, July 28, from 7 until 9.

About Mr. Waller, Don Murdoch of Highland Music has said, "Earl is a guitarist's guitar player." Mr. Waller, who received classical training at the University of Montevallo, has added much to his early classical abilities over time. He is now one of the few, real "go to" rock guitar players in Birmingham and maintains his rock chops as a member of "The Pistons." Mr. Leonard many people know from his day job: General Manager of WBRC and FOX 6. He is otherwise a serious musician who has studied for years under Mr. Waller.
Proceeds from the evening's receipts will benefit Hand-in-Paw. Reservations for dinner are urged, space being limited. Please call 879-7891.
