Full Moon Recognized

Full Moon Bar-B-Que has been named among the top 10 barbecue in the country.

Gayot.com says, "From Black Angus beef brisket and good rib sandwiches to house-made desserts, the quality shows at Full Moon," and praises the sauce for being "not too spicy, not too sweet."

They must have caught them on a good day. In our opinion, since they went from being a small hole in the wall on Southside to a chain, the quality and service have become extremely variable. After disappointing experiences the last two times we went to the Hoover location, we quit going. But when they were on Southside, it was one of the places we took out of town visitors to show off our Southern favorites.

The only other Southeastern restaurant on the Gayot list was Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q in Atlanta.
