Last Community Farm Table of Season at Little Savannah

Little Savannah restaurant in Forest Park will host its last Community Farm Table dinner Tuesday, Oct. 20. David Snow and Margaret Ann Toohey of Snow's Bend Farm in Tuscaloosa (a frequent supplier to Birmingham's finest restaurants and the prettiest booth at the Pepper Place Saturday market) will be there for this family-style, four-course supper featuring the freshest seasonal ingredients.

The menu will feature roasted parsnip soup with parsley oil; arugula salad with white cheddar cheese, sweet potatoes and pomegranate vinaigrette; fried pork chops with blue corn grits and apple & onion gravy; and sweet potato pie for dessert. 

Price is $35 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations required. Call 591-1119.
