Cajun-n-Jazz Kicks Off September Events at Pleasure is All Wine

pleasureisallwine-logo.jpgHead to Pleasure is All Wine in Pelham this Friday, Sept. 7, for "Cajun 'n' Jazz," where they will pair wines with Cajun cuisine, with live music provided by Matt Jacoby and “The Rufner Mountain Ramblers.” Cost: $30 plus tax, advance payment required; call 985-4760 for more information or to make your reservation. The menu, catered by Chef Sean Butler, will feature Cornmeal Fried Oysters with Coleslaw & Hot Sauce; Cajun Jambalaya; Shrimp Etouffee; and White Chocolate-Bananas Foster Pudding with Foster Sauce & Fudge Drizzle, paired with Selbach Dry Riesling, Rhein River Riesling, Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc and IWine Zinfandel.

Also in September are a class on wine cellaring Sept. 10, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" Sept. 12, and Grill Night Sept. 14. Every Saturday from 3-4:30 p.m., the shop features a free wine tasting of two new wines each week. For more information, visit www.pleasureisallwine.com.
