3043 Allison Bonnet Memorial Drive, Hueytown

Woody's Famous BBQ Restaurant
8156 U.S. 11, Trussville
655-3343
Named a "hidden gem of dining" in Birmingham News City Scene, March 2009, which notes that owner Rodney Woody started selling his barbecue in a little truck stop along U.S. 11 in 1992, but moved into his own place six years ago. City Scene says "Don't leave without trying one of the famous fried apple pies prepared by Woody's mother, Marylouise."
